After I developed the new brand identity for this animation studio, it was time to create an ident to introduce it to the world.

This ident outlines the process of the new brand reimagining, while showcasing the personality of the studio itself. My goal was to keep it visually interesting and snappy, and translating it all into stop motion was thrilling.

The idea of this stop motion ident had been bouncing around my head ever since I started rebranding the studio. Once the brand refresh was complete, I could finally get to production.

The main shoot was done over a couple of sleepless nights, carefully making clay models and improvising on the spot to get around roadblocks. Then I took it digital and composited it, adding the extra pops and flairs. The final touch was adding sound, much of which was also recorded in house.
